The SpeedFlow 2.0-Pipe uses the electrodynamic principle. The flow of the solid particles through the sensor cross-section leads to a charge transfer (induction voltage). These electrical signals are evaluated by an autocorrelation method. The defined distance between the electrodes thus calculates the speed.
The commissioning takes place in the installed state and by means of supplied software.
The speed is output as a 4 … 20 mA signal.
