MPL


Sigma MPL is a sophisticated laser remote sensing system which provides

continuous, unattended monitoring of cloud and aerosol profiles

in the atmosphere. Based on the same principle as radar, the

MPL system transmits laser pulses into the atmosphere and

receives the backscattered light. This data is used to

generate atmospheric optical properties in real time.
