The Model 1001 Zero Air Source is designed to meet the requirements of clean, dry air for dilution calibrators, purge air for permeation tube ovens, supply air for test chambers and pollutant free air for other laboratory or environmental applications.
Equipped with dual coalescent filters and a permeation drier, moisture removal is enabled automatically using adjustable control circuitry or manual purging from the front panel. Additionally, upon completion of calibration, the air source can be controlled automatically by a Sabio dilution calibrator or remotely by contact closure or when installed on demand with an internal pressure switch.
Air pollutants are removed using reusable dual rear mounted scrubber canisters for NO, NO2, O3, SO2, H2S. Other pollutants such as carbon monoxide (CO) or hydrocarbons (HC) can be removed with an internal oxidizer. Both types of internal oxidizers come equipped with front panel mounted temperature controllers which monitor and control the temperature for optimum performance.

The 2010 Intelligent Portable Gas Dilution Calibrator can easily perform gas dilution, multi source gas blending, ozone and gas phase titration (GPT) for environmental, laboratory, or point source monitoring The Model 2010 is small in size and weight for users who require true portability. Enhanced with the latest technology, the Model 2010 calibration system is an uncomplicated and effective way to precisely control the dilution of gas standards for calibration of ambient air and source monitoring analyzers. The Model 2010 calibrator uses embedded microprocessor technology to precisely deliver and control gas concentrations along multiple curve fits to linearize the desired outputs for the intended purpose. The unit can be operated manually, automatically, or semi-automatically by remote access. It also has the capability to produce and store in memory 20 calibration sequences with up to 20 levels of source/dilution in each sequence. Users can choose either the front panel membrane keypad, external keyboard, serial port, or Ethernet to input calibration sequences. The instrument’s pneumatic system uses Mass Flow Controllers to precisely meter gas streams and implements multiple types of curve correction algorithms to linearize calibrations. A second source MFC can be added for a wider dynamic range or trace level applications. An optional second source MFC with blending allows user-performed interferent testing and evaluation. Calibrator design exceeds US EPA calibration method requirements. Dilution components are calibrated with standards and test equipment traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
The Model 2020-EXP is a portable source for clean, dry air designed to meet a wide range of requirements for the environmental industry including trace level applications. From supplying zero air for calibration systems to purge air for permeation ovens, the small package size and weight make the Model 2020-EXP the preferred choice for field and audit personnel as well as operating environments with limited bench space. The Model 2020-EXP uses an internal permeation drying system for moisture removal and is coupled with filter canisters for scrubbing NO, NO2, O3, SO2, and H2S. Optional features such as the internal carbon monoxide (CO) oxidizer or external hydrocarbon (HC) oxidizer further the Model 2020’s clean air capabilities.
The 2010D Intelligent Gas Dilution Calibrator can easily perform gas dilution, multi-source gas blending, ozone and gas phase titration (GPT - NO + O3 to generate NO2) for environmental, laboratory, or point source monitoring. The Model 2010D represents the latest generation of calibrator technology for environmental, laboratory or point source monitoring. The unit has two internal mass flow controllers (MFC's), with options for an internal Ozone generator and a photometer (5.25 inches high and weighing less than 25 lbs). The Model 2010D calibrator uses embedded microprocessor technology to precisely deliver and control gas concentrations along multiple curve fits to linearize the desired outputs for the intended purpose. The Model 1000M methane catalytic oxidizer is an easy to use, reliable method for the removal of methane or carbon monoxide. Ideal for use with any of Sabio’s air sources, this oxidizer is extremely effective in furthering the reduction of air pollutants for clean air applications. The Model 1000M methane oxidizer meets industry requirements for thermal oxidation with increased oven reliability and stability, faster rise times, and higher converter efficiencies. Average converter efficiency is 95% or greater. The proprietary two-stage, multiple path tube and oven design enable the Model 1000M the ability to oxidize reactive species at relatively low temperatures. Oven temperature is precisely maintained by a microprocessorbased temperature controller driving a high-capacity optically isolated triac control module. The dual display temperature controller uses pulse width modulation to regulate the heating cycle and minimize thermal noise from on/off cycling. A thermal cutoff switch works with the heating element to protect the electronic circuitry and oven from thermal overload conditions.
The Model 2030 Portable Ozone Transfer provides an accurate and convenient means of measuring low levels of ozone in ambient air. Using the Beer-Lambert law, ozone is measured in a single photometric cell by detecting the absorption of ultraviolet (UV) radiation from ozone molecules at a wavelength of 254 nm. Real-time comparison of the UV light intensity for the sample gas to the reference gas yields a precise concentration of ozone. The single cell design reduces the complexity of the ozone measurement and automatically eliminates zero drift. Advanced, easy to use, menu-driven software allows access to sample conditions and diagnostics and the strip chart feature allows the user to view a time series plot for ozone readings. The 2030 Portable Ozone Transfer offers a bright color display, data logging capability and advanced communications via Ethernet, USB and RS-232/485.
Gas Calibration System
