Our Repair & Calibration Process
We start with a complimentary remote diagnostic to see whether you can fix your faulty equipment (with guidance) or if repairs can be done onsite. If not, we organise to ship your equipment to our workshop for servicing.
Record Keeping & Tracking
We record all relevant details in our asset management system, including make, model, fault reported, and photos. This allows us to create a unique ID for tracking your instrument.
Our service engineer runs a series of tests to troubleshoot and diagnose the fault. Once the issue is clear, we send through detailed recommendations and a quote.
Repair & Calibration
Upon your approval, our technician will repair the instrument in line with manufacturer recommendations. This may include a full calibration, with pre- and post- results recorded and saved in our system. If needed, we’ll undertake a NATA calibration as per our scope of accreditation.
Upon completion, we bench test the instrument to ensure the problem is fixed, the instrument is stable (and doesn’t drift), and the equipment is ready for operation.
Communication & Reports
Throughout the repair process, you’re constantly kept informed. Before dispatch, you’ll get a comprehensive service and calibration report — and we’ll discuss the contents with you.
Once you confirm you’re satisfied with the outcome, we carefully pack your instrument for transport and ship it back to your site.
Our dispatcher tracks each delivery and will confirm you receive the equipment. 1-2 weeks post-repair, our customer service team will check in to ensure everything is performing well.
If you’ve engaged Norditech to install and commission your component, we’ll also conduct a site acceptance test. We also offer ongoing support and servicing via our optimised maintenance program.
